BI Partner is a consulting and product company with deep expertise in Business Intelligence, data integration, data management, and data visualization and analysis.

Founded in 2007 in Gothenburg, Sweden, we remain based there today, with all our consultants working from our local office. What started as financial analytics support has grown into a broader mission: helping organizations across various industries make smarter, data-driven decisions.

Our team consists of experienced BI consultants with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Azure, SQL Server, and modern BI architectures. We serve clients including Volvo, Attendo, Capio, SmartCraft, Unilabs, and NSI.

With our proprietary platform, BIS, we give clients full control of their BI environment — from data model to budget to executive reporting — with the ability to manage it themselves rather than depending on consultants for day-to-day changes.

  1. 2007

    Analytics and decision support

    We start in Gothenburg with a focus on financial analytics and operational decision support. The foundation for data-driven governance is laid.

  2. 2008

    First proprietary platform

    An early version of BISPortal launches to support structured, scalable data warehousing.

  3. 2010

    Robust data platform

    We build advanced data warehouses and integration flows with a focus on quality and scalability. The budget & forecasting module simplifies planning, and access control ensures the right people see the right data.

  4. 2015

    Full ownership and modernization

    We take end-to-end responsibility for customers' information platform and make the portal flexible across user roles — from leadership to operational controllers.

  5. 2020

    Power BI and interactive analytics

    We pivot to Microsoft Power BI and modern cloud architectures. The budget & forecast module gets a new web experience that simplifies implementation, use, and maintenance.

  6. 2026

    Next-generation platform

    OpenBIS — a cloud-based evolution of BISPortal — enters production. A standardized, configurable, future-proof end-to-end solution that simplifies business BI from the ground up.
